Visiting Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to meet Muslim MPs today, Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Leader Rauff Hakeem said.
The meeting is scheduled to be held later today.
"Visiting Pakistan PM Imran Khan will meet with SL Muslim Parliamentarians today. The Pakistan High Commission in Colombo confirmed now. Looking forward to fruitful discussions," he tweeted.
The High Commission has earlier informed the Muslim MPs that an appointment with them was not possible citing PM’s busy schedule. However, Hakeem tweeted that meeting was confirmed by the mission a short while ago.
