In his maiden remarks made in Sinhalese, Indian High Commissioner Gopal Bagley yesterday announced that the inaugural international flight to Kushinagar Airport would be a pilgrimage flight from Sri Lanka.
He made these remarks at the launch of the book titled 'Kapilawastupura Sri Sarvagna Dhathu Puranaya ha Rajaguru Waskaduwe Sri Subuthi Thera' in the presence of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
The High Commissioner also mentioned about bringing the sacred Kapilavastu relics again to Sri Lanka after some nine years.
