England chased a massive and improbable target of 521 to win. India needed just one wicket to take on Wednesday morning to win the match. Ravichandran Ashwin removed England No. 11 James Anderson only in the third over of the day’s play on Wednesday.
India won by 203 runs.
England, though, lead the five-match series 2-1.
The 4th Test will begin at Southampton on 30 August and the fifth will be from 7 September, to be played in London.
