Indian National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval is scheduled to meet President Gotabaya Rajapaksa for a one on one discussion tomorrow afternoon.
Doval today met Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at Mr. Rajapaksa’s official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo.
At the meeting, Doval proposed Prime Minister Rajapaksa to take the lead in initiating a dialogue between the countries in the region in finding a solution to the recession and developing strategies to revive the economy.
The meetings are being held on the sidelines of the tripartite confab between Sri Lanka, India and the Maldives on maritime security.
