Interprovincial bus and train services will resume from tomorrow (01) in compliance with health guidelines.
However, services will only operate during the morning and evening hours, State Minister for Transport Dilum Amunugama said today (31).
“We decided not to operate public transport services in the middle of the day as the health authorities have warned that there is still a very serious pandemic situation,” he said.
The resumption of these are said to be in line with providing services to public servants who have been called back to work from Monday (02).
