85 Iranian Technicians arrived in the Island yesterday (15) to complete the final phase of the Uma Oya Multi-Purpose Development Project (UOMDP), President's Media Division announced.
The technicians have been subject to PCR tests and will undergo a 14-day quarantine procedure.
According to the PMD 95% of the project has been completed so far.
The project is to add MW 120 to the national grid following its completion.
