The isolation status of several areas in Colombo and Gampaha Districts including Bloemendhal and Kelaniya would be lifted at 5 am tomorrow, Army Commander Shavendra Silva said.
In Colombo, the isolation of the Bloemendhal Police area and the Wijayapura Grama Niladhari Division in Wellampitiya Police area to be lifted tomorrow morning.
In Gampaha, the isolation of Kelaniya Police area to be lifted at 5 am tomorrow.
The isolation of Wattala and Peliyagoda Police areas would also be lifted tomorrow except for several identified GN Divisions in them.
Accordingly, Kerawalapitiya, Hekitta, Kurunduhena, Evariwatta and Welikadamulla GN Divisions in Wattala and Pattiya-North, Meegahawatta, Peliyagoda - Gangabada and Peliyagodawatta GN Divisions in Peliyagoda would be isolated from tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile, Welebada-North GN Division in Kiribathgoda would also be isolated.
The Army Commander said the isolation of other areas except for those mentioned in Colombo and Gampaha would be continued until further notice.
