The Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi will visit Sri Lanka and Spain from 14 to 17 December, The Japanese Foreign Ministry said.

Last month Japanese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Sugiyama Akira held cordial discussion with President Gotabaya Rajapkasa on strengthening the relationship between the two nations and enhancing economic opportunities and investments.

The Japanese Government has assured it will continue to support Sri Lanka’s efforts and further develop the cooperative relationship.
