JMSDF “Ikazuchi” of Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force arrived at the Hambantota Port on a goodwill visit, yesterday (15 January) and its crew participated in a beach cleaning campaign at Hambantota beach area today (16 January).
The Mission Commander of the ship Captain Ryoko Izuma, the Commanding Officer and other officers and sailors of the ship joined with large number of Sri Lankan naval personnel for the cleaning campaign which was admired by civil community living in this area.
