Joint opposition protesters staged an overnight vigil in Colombo near the Lake House roundabout following a protest march against the Government.
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa spoke to the crowd and urged them to stay on overnight.
He said the protest staged today was successful and the campaign to overthrow the Government will continue.
