The Attorney General (AG) has directed the Director of Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) to record statements from judges who were involved in the controversial telephone conversations with UNP Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake.
Ramanayake who was arrested over exerting undue influence on judges was remanded until 29 January by the Nugegoda Magistrate yesterday(15).
Leaked audios reveal conversations Ramanayake had with high court judges Padmini N. Ranawaka Gunathilaka, Gihan Pilapitiya and Dammika Hemapala.
