Notorious drug trafficker ‘Kanjipani Imran’ has been remanded until September 20 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court over allegedly threatening an Inspector of Police (IP) over the phone.
Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne ordered the Commissioner of Prisons to produce Imran before the court today (September 09), the Police Media Spokesperson said.
The Chief Magistrate gave this order on 5 September following a request made by the Keselwatte Police.
