Keels Kalubowila closed after two employees test positive for COVID-19

Keels Supermarket, Kalubowila has been closed after two of its employees tested positive for COVID-19 today, the management said. In a statement, it said all operations at the store has been temporarily halted and the store closed for sanitization purposes. “The store will reopen following the recommended sanitization procedures by the epidemiology unit of the Ministry of Health and approval by the public health inspectors. All team members that have come into contact will undergo PCR test whilst also being self-quarantined for 14 days,” it said. “We are committed to respecting the privacy of all our customers and the team members and kindly request your support in doing the same,” the management said. It said Keels Supermarkets have conducted close to 1,100 PCR tests so far and would continue random testing for its team, as early detection will contain the spread.
