According to a statement from the President’s Media Division, veteran journalist Kingsley Rathnayake has been appointed as the President’s Media Spokesman.
Rathnayake had received his letter of appointment from President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (29)
In the past, Kingsley Rathnayake had functioned as the head of a local television network.
Earlier this week, Sudewa Hettiarachchi was appointed as the Director General of the Presidential Media Unit.
