A doctor attached to the Kurunegala District Hospital has been arrested due to alleged suspicions over his earnings and asset ownership.
The Police Spokesperson, SP Ruwan Gunasekara had stated that 42-year-old, Dr. Seigu Siyabdeen Mohamed Shafi was taken into custody last night (24) based on information received by the Kurunegala Police.
