18 Mar 2022

The 2nd term school examinations which were due to begin next week have been delayed due to the lack of paper for printing says Western Provincial Director of Education Mr Srilal Nonis. He made this statement while speaking to The Morning today (18) "The final term examinations have been delayed due to the lack of paper and other material to prepare the examination papers. We have informed the relevant people and this should be rectified soon as we don't intend on inconveniencing the children," said Nonis. He further added that the schedule which had already been released for Grades 6, 7, and 8 will be changed and students of Grades 4, 9, 10, and 11 will be able to face the exams after the April 2022 holidays.
