[caption id="attachment_135924" align="alignnone" width="470"] Messi distraught after Barcelona drop points against Levante in a 3-3 draw[/caption]AC Milan is making strong case for a top-four finish with sudden rise of form in the last couple of weeks in the season. This time it was Torino who was in the receiving end as Milan registered a 7-0 win over them. Ante Rebic’s hatrick and goals from Theo Hernandez (2), Frank Kessie, Brahim Diaz secured the win and their spot inside the top four for another week.
The remaining three spots in the top four are taken by Inter Milan, Atlanta and Napoli, all who won their respective games this week. This was bad news for Juventus who are still in fifth place after their 3-1 win over Sassuolo. Their only hope on making it to the top four is heavily banked on Napoli, AC Milan or Atlanta, slipping points in their remaining two games.
However, Christiano Ronaldo reached yet another milestone as he scored his 100th goals for Juve and became the first ever footballer to score 100 goals for three clubs and country. He previously scored more than 100 goals for Manchester United and Real Madrid.
* LaLiga: Atletico Madrid inch closer to title as Barca slip more points
Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid is inching closer to the title as they beat Athletic Bilbao two goals to one on Wednesday (12). This win game them a 4 point cushion over Barcelona who is second place. With two games to play, their fate is in their hands. Barcelona on the hand ruined their chances of closing in on Atletico Madrid as they conceded a late equalizer against Levante on Wednesday. They were winning the 3-2 after Ousmane Dembele got them ahead in the 64th minute. But, Sergio Leon’s 83rd minute strike was huge blow in their title hopes.
