The National Building Research Organization says that there is a risk of landslides in three districts due to the prevailing rainy weather.
It is reported that there is a risk of landslides in Kandy, Kegalle and Matale districts. Meanwhile, showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in many parts of the island during the evening or night, the Met Department said.Showers will occur in the Eastern, Central and Uva provinces and in some places in the Polonnaruwa and Mullaitivu districts.
