LankaClear recently announced that its corporate name has been changed to LankaPay (Pvt.) Ltd. to better encompass the services it offers.
“From now on, both our company name and brand name will be LankaPay,” it added.
Since its incorporation in 2002, LankaPay’s quest is to empower every Sri Lankan with faster, convenient, secure, and affordable payment solutions, thereby creating financial inclusivity.
As the national payment network that functions under the guidance and supervision of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), LankaPay is regarded one of the best Public Private Partnership (PPP) in the region.
The entity is owned by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) along with other licensed public and private Commercial Banks operating in the island nation.
