A Sri Lankan tour guide has tested positive for coronavirus and is receiving treatment at the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH) in Angoda.
The 52-year-old tour guide had worked with a group of Italians, a President’s Media Division (PMD) press release said.
PMD’s release added that inspections have been launched to identify the individuals that the patient had been in contact with and places where the tourist group had travelled to.
