He is interested in motor cars and science. He already knows all the planets in the solar system and can tell you many interesting facts about the solar system. He also collects facts about the scientists, especially the scientists who invented things to help humankind. Let’s see what Humayun has got to share with Little Stars.  Hello Humayun. Can you please introduce yourself to us? My full name is Mohamed Humayun Hasaan Samseer and everyone calls me Humayun. I am four years old and I was born in July 2016. I live in Makola.  I like to learn about science and motor cars and also learn new things about scientists and what they have done. What do you like to play? I like to play run-and-catch and cricket. When I go to the park I like to ride a bicycle. I also like to play with my toys and my favourites are my Transformers toys and the racing cars. Can you tell us what you want to become when you grow up? I want to become an astronaut. An astronaut is someone who goes to space. Why do you want to become an astronaut? I want to see all the planets from Mercury to Neptune. I only want to see the planets and I will not stop until I see Neptune. I also want to go to NASA. You told us one of your favourite things to do is to learn new things about cars. Can you tell us a little bit about cars? Some cars are very fast and some cars look very nice. I am learning about cars from my father. He knows a lot about cars. He taught me about the Tuatara, Bugatti Chiron, Benz, BMW, and many more.   Do you know who invented the car? Yes. It was Karl Benz who invented the car. What can you tell us about gravity? Gravity is power on Earth and the Earth wants to pull everything towards it. Did you know that if there is no gravity we will all just float? The chairs we sit on will float, these houses will float, and even the water will float. So will it be fun if there is no gravity? No! Nothing will stay on Earth. Who discovered gravity and how? It was Sir Isaac Newton who discovered gravity. One day, Sir Isaac Newton went out to play with his friends. He got tired and he sat down under an apple tree. And you know what happened? One apple fell on his head. And he thought: “Why didn’t this apple go up?” Ah ha! He thought of gravity and then he went and told his mother and friends about this. Until then no one knew. Can you tell us something about the solar system too? Yes. The Sun is in the middle of the solar system and the planets orbit about the Sun. There are eight planets in our solar system and they are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. What is your favourite planet? The Earth. Because it has waterfalls, rivers, beaches, oceans, and lots of other beautiful things. That’s why I Iike it the most. Should we look after the Earth? We should. The Earth is a good planet for humans and animals to live in. So, we have to take good care of the Earth.
