The Ministry of Health warned that asymptomatic Covid-19 patients could be freely moving in society as the quarantine curfew has been lifted in many areas.
Speaking to The Morning, Chief Epidemiologist Dr. Sudath Samaraweera warned the public to be cautious and follow the health guidelines.
“It is urged that older people and those who have prolonged diseases stay at home,” he added.
Insisting that there's no social transmission of the virus, Dr. Samaraweera noted that the patients reported so far are linked to the two major clusters reported recently.
