SLPP MP Lohan Ratwatte was sworn in as the State Minister of Prison Management and Prisoners’ Rehabilitation before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today, the President’s Media Division said.
The portfolio felt vacant after previous State Minister Dr. Sudarshani Fernandopulle was appointed as the State Minister of Health Services, Infectious Diseases and Covid-19 Prevention.
Ratwatte is also the State Minister of Gem and Jewellery related Industries.
