An individual in possession of heroin was arrested at the Keselwatta area in Colombo, the Police Media Division stated yesterday (26).
The arrestee has been identified as a 31-year-old male named “Kota Tharanga”.
He is believed to be a close associate of notorious drug dealer Makandure Madush, who is currently in the custody of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
The Police said that 2 g of heroin was found on the suspect.
