The final report of the five-member committee investigating the Mahara prison clash will be presented to the Cabinet next week, Justice Minister Ali Sabry said.
Secretary to the Ministry M. M. P. K. Mayadunne said that the proposals will be implemented as soon as possible.
Former High Court Judge Kusala Sarojini Weerawardena, the chairperson of the committee appointed to look into the November 29 clash at Mahara Prison, handed over the final report to Justice Minister Ali Sabry yesterday afternoon.
