Jeewaka Shasheen struck 103 for Devapathiraja[/caption]
Mahinda College, Galle and Devapathiraja College, Rathgama entered the final of the Under-19 Inter-school Division-I Tier B Cricket Tournament, conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association (SLSCA), yesterday (25).
In their semi-final, Devapathiraja beat Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda by 40 runs at BRC. Mahinda beat Ananda College, Colombo by 72 runs in their semi played at Thurstan College grounds, Colombo.
Jeewaka Shasheen, the right-handed Devapathiraja bat, scored a valuable 103 off 121 with six fours and four sixes.
Kavidu Lakshan of Mahinda displayed an all-round performance. He scored 60 runs in 38 balls with three boundaries and three sixes before taking 5/18 with the ball.
