Former Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage was last week jeered away by a group of protestors when he had tried to visit his constituency – Nawalapitiya.
The protestors had taken to the streets and blocked Aluthagamage’s vehicle and the Police had to come to his aid. The people had expressed their frustration over the continuing shortages of essentials.
