The public has been requested to cooperate with security forces while a massive search operation is carried out by the police and armed forces in Colombo today (25).
Several roadblocks and checkpoints are in operation at the main entry and exit points to the city while several suspicious vehicles without identification are being inspected.
The operations are being carried out following fears and several alerts provided by the public, that suspects linked to the Easter Sunday bombings may be residing within the city limits.
