Dinesh Nuwan Amaratunga, the mathematics tutor who was taken into custody over the incident of assault of a van driver has been further remanded.
Amaratunga and seven others who were arrested and remanded for assaulting a motorist in Kalagedihena until today (29), has been ordered to be remanded further till 5 August.
The Police were requested to investigate the security officers attached to the maths teacher who had assaulted the van driver,
