The Health Ministry today said a maximum 100 guests could be invited to a wedding.
However, the Ministry said the number of guests should be equal to 40% of the reception hall capacity.
The Ministry advised couples to have less guests as possible to reduce the risk of the spread of the coronavirus.
The Ministry said in the event a guest has been diagnosed with the coronavirus, it will be much easier to identify the other guests and quarantine them as opposed to a larger crowd.
Guests are also required to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
According to the Health Ministry, guidelines issued on 27 April are still valid.
