The Parliament will be conducting a Covid-19 testing drive today (6), through which all MPs and Parliamentary staff will have the opportunity to undergo Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT).
A number of MPs and ministers tested positive for Covid-19 last month, including Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage; State Minister of Rattan, Brass, Pottery, Furniture, and Rural Industrial Promotion Prasanna Ranaweera; State Minister of Development of Minor Crops-related Industries and Export Promotion Janaka Wakkumbura; and MPs Rohana Dissanayake, Tissa Kuttiarachchi, Dilip Wedaarachchi, and Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam.
