Any amount of land will be given to those who will use nano-nitrogen fertiliser and promote organic farming, according to Minister of Lands S M Chandrasena.
He made this statement during a media brief held yesterday (25).
"I will give 5,10,15,25, 50 or even 100 acres of land for projects to promote organic farming. If an investor can do that, I will give not just 25 acres of land but more than that,” he said.
It was also highlighted that nano-nitrogen is being manufactured in India and the United Farmers Trust Limited is making a request to manufacture the same in Sri Lanka.
