Measures have been taken to release minor drug offenders as part of an effort to reduce overcrowding in prisons amid the COVID-19.
Accordingly, the Attorney General (AG) has formulated guidelines for the procedure to be carried out.
The guidelines will be followed by the Acting IGP to grant bail to minor drug offenders.
