The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) held discussions today (09) over a possible alliance between the two parties. After a brief meeting between the representatives of both parties, SLFP General Secretary, Dayasiri Jayasekara stated that agreements have been made to meet up once again for the fourth round of talks. It was reported that the next meeting between the two parties has been scheduled for 30 May.
