All movie theatres under the National Film Corporation will be closed from today (14) until further notice, the Ministry of Cultural Affairs announced.
The Ministry added that the temporary suspension of screening was imposed to curtail the outbreak of the coronavirus in the country.
The decision has been taken based on directives by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, the Ministry of Cultural Affairs said.
