The operation to tow the damaged MV X-Press Pearl vessel has been halted, Sri Lanka Navy Spokesman said.
He stated that the operation has been halted as one area of the ship’s bottom has made contact with the sea bed.
However, the Spokesman remarked that no fuel leakage was observed so far.
