Minister Namal Rajapaksa visited the inmates housed at the Anuradhapura prison today (16).
The Minister expressed in a tweet that his visit came after a group of prisoners requested a meeting with him.
Accordingly, Rajapaksa stated that talks were held with the inmates to discuss their concerns.
“I assured them I would look into their issues including their rehabilitation and reintegration into society once they are cleared of charges,” the Minister expressed.
