National cricketers Binura and Chamika test positive

Two Sri Lankan cricketers training for the forthcoming series in the West Indies have been tested positive for Covid-19. They have been training with the squad for the upcoming Test, ODI, and T20I series in the West Indies starting next month. [caption id="attachment_115193" align="alignleft" width="300"] Binura Fernando[/caption] The two players who have tested positive have been reported as Binura Fernando and Chamika Karunaratne. Binura Fernando, the 25-year-old left-arm medium-fast bowler, has played in two T20Is in 2015 against Pakistan. [caption id="attachment_115194" align="alignright" width="300"] Chamika Karunaratne[/caption] Meanwhile Chamika Karunaratne, 24, is the younger brother of Olympic badminton player Niluka Karunaratne and national badminton player Diluka Karunaratne. Chamika is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who played in a single Test for Sri Lanka in 2019 in Australia.
