A.J.M Muzammil, former Mayor of Colombo and High Commissioner to Malaysia was appointed as the Chairman of the Central Environment Authority today (11).
Muzammil has been appointed these duties by President Maithripala Sirisena to be carried out with immediate effect for a period of three years.
The position of CEA Chairman was previously held by senior public servant in the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, Chandrarathna Pallegama, who was appointed to the post on March 23, 2018.
