A three member advisory board has been formed to study and present recommendations to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on persons incarcerated for terrorism.
According to the President's Media Division, the board has been formed under former Chief Justice Ashoka De Silva.
It is expected that the board will present recommendations to the President on releasing or granting bail to those in jail or under detention orders for involvement in terrorist activities.
