The new government will appoint committees to review the agreements that had been signed by the Sirisena-Wickremesinghe government, UPFA MP Bandula Gunawardena said.
Accordingly, the government is likely to review the Singapore-Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement and Hambantota Port Agreement.
It will also re-consider the proposed ETCA agreement with India and the Mattala Airport deal with India.
MP Gunawardena stressed that the new government would have to face the challenge of converting the already signed agreements into ones more suitable for Sri Lanka.
