New Secretaries were appointed to seven Cabinet Ministries today (11), the President’s Media Division said in a press statement today.
The seven newly appointed Ministry Secretaries are as follows:
- Mrs. S. M. Mohamed has been appointed Secretary to Ministry of Justice, Human Rights, and Law Reforms
- Mr. J. J. Rathnasiri has been appointed Secretary to Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government
- Mr. S. Hettiarachchi has been appointed Secretary to Ministry of Tourism and Aviation
- Mr. H. K. D. W. M.N. B. Hapuhinna has been appointed Secretary to Ministry of Women and Child Affairs and Social Security
- Mrs. J. M. B. Jayawardene has been appointed Secretary to Ministry of Internal Trade, Food Security and Consumer Welfare
- Major General (Retired) A. K. S. Perera has been appointed Secretary to Ministry of Mahaweli, Agriculture, Irrigation & Rural Development
- Major General Sanjeewa Munasinghe has been appointed Secretary to Ministry of Health & Indigenous Medicine
