Party leaders have decided to convene Parliament on July 15, following the resignation of incumbent President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, MP Ranjith Madduma Bandara says.
Accordingly, nominations for the post of President will be accepted on July 18 and the President will be elected on July 20.
