The second day of the three-day warm-up game between touring New Zealand and Sri Lanka Board President’s XI was washed off without ball bowled, due to heavy rains, at the FTZ Grounds, Katunayake on Friday, 9 August.
The home team were 326/6 declared after the first day’s play on Thursday.
Two SL Board President’s opening batsmen Danushka Gunathilaka and Sadeera Samarawickrama scored 98 and 80 runs respectively.
Left-arm leg-spinner Ajaz Patel took five wickets for 41 runs.
