It is reported that all the candidates who qualified for the GCE Ordinary Level examination which commenced today were present, said the Commissioner General of Examinations Sanath Poojitha.
The Commissioner of Examinations also stated that 38 students had attended special examination centers for children infected with the Covid 19 virus.
This year's GCE Ordinary Level Examination commenced at 4513 centers. The examination will be held until the next 10 days.
He further said that all health instructions were followed at the examination centers, including temperature checks, regular handwashing, mandatory wearing of face masks and social distancing.
