A No- Confidence Motion against the present Government filed by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) was handed over to Speaker Karu Jayasuriya today (21), the Speaker's media has reported.
During a press conference held yesterday (20) the leader of the JVP, Anura Kumara Dissanayake had said that the Motion will be filed as they claim to have lost faith in the Government with regards to maintaining security and peace in the nation.
Additionally, the Parliament is also set to convene today, chaired by Speaker of the house Karu Jayasuriya.
