Leader of Sri Lanka Muslim Congress, Rauf Hakeem has denied reports that he along with his party has decided to support Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Hakeem says that the SLMC hold Rajapaksa's appointment as inconsistent with parliamentary democratic principles until his majority is proven in parliament.
"I wish to deny reports claiming that my party and my self have extended support to the newly sworn in PM.
