No special measures have been taken into consideration to check whether the employees and passengers of all public and private transport services are adhering to the health guidelines issued by authorities, Police Media Spokesperson SP Jaliya Senaratne said.
When asked whether special measures will be taken to check whether the passengers who use private and public transport services, which are to be normalised today, are following the health guidelines, SP Senaratne said the general procedure the Police conducted will be continued.
He also added that the Police will use roadblocks and traffic police officials as usual and that special attention will not be paid to check the adherence to health guidelines such as wearing masks.
