No Sri Lankans will reject treatment from military hospitals: Army Commander

Army Commander General Shavendra Silva, today stated that no Sri Lankan can refuse to receive the vaccine against the Covid virus from military hospitals and that only non - Sri Lankans could do so. He was responding to a statement by some Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MPs that they were not ready to receive the Covid vaccine from Army hospitals. "We treat all people as Sri Lankans without any discrimination. We have no problem with their position. They are the people's representatives who represent our Tamil people. We are giving this vaccine to the people in the hope of protecting the Tamil population in Jaffna and other areas," he further said.
