Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe has instructed to Transport Minister not to facilitate normal public transport for at least another 2 weeks.
The instructions come after the Transport Ministry had consulted the Director General of Health Services with regard to the deployment of public transport from tomorrow 11 May.
However, Dr. Jasinghe had highlighted that the public may attempt to misuse public transport for non essential/personal work and advised the ministry to deploy public transport for another two weeks.
